He meets and strategizes with IT and business executives and their leadership teams across North America on issues relating to IT transformation, IT culture change, service and sourcing strategies, and Marketing IT’s value.
Dan is a contributing author of O&A’s latest book titled Leading IT Transformation: The Roadmap for Success. He has published numerous articles in industry journals and contributed to O&A’s books titled, IT At Your Service, IT Internal Consulting, and How to Market the IT Department Internally.
As the leading provider of IT leadership and professional development training services focusing on the “human side of technology,” Dan is proud of O&A’s long term partnerships with world class, Fortune 1000 clients across all industries including aerospace, financial services/insurance, healthcare, pharmaceutical, retail, utilities, as well as many governments and universities.
Dan is also proud of the outstanding team of O&A facilitators and the value they bring to clients. When asked to describe O&A’s continual success, he refers to a simple formula: world-class clients + world-class content + world-class people = success!
Although concerned by the recent trends in offshore outsourcing, which is taking thousands of technology jobs out of the US, Dan believes that those IT professionals who reinvent themselves will thrive in this new environment. This will necessitate the development of a new mindset and skill set that ensures they are positioned as the consultative, client focused, change and marketing-savvy, provider of choice.
Dan is a graduate of the Whittemore School of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire. He and his wife Denise have two grown children, and reside near O&A’s Bedford, NH headquarters.
