IT Project Management

Industry statistics reveal that only 26% of all IT projects finish on time, on budget and with all the promised features and functions. The remaining projects are lost in the maze of missed deadlines, cost overruns, reduced functionality and lost opportunities.

Project managers and teams skilled at managing the “human side” of the equation follow the most efficient path to overcome project challenges and consistently deliver high quality results to support the business need.

Loaded with practical tools, real-world exercises and team activities that address the unique challenges associated with IT projects, this interactive IT-specific workshop addresses the whys and how-tos of IT project management.

The three-day workshop is organized into three sections:
  • Structuring:  A framework for turning an assignment into a project
  • Planning:  The detailed work needed to plan overall and day-to-day activities for the project and each project team member
  • Managing: Monitoring and controlling the project through to successful completion, including positive leadership skills that build strong client relationships and client-project team collaboration
